Our members are business owners and professionals from a broad variety of companies and industries. We share in common the belief that business success is enhanced by the relationships we build.
Our focus is promoting the development of professional relationships and business success among our members and facilitating new relationships among our respective clients, prospects and strategic partners.
We meet the third Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30pm. All WHIMBY meetings are held at The Westwood Club on 6200 W. Club Lane in Richmond, Virginia.
If you would like to check us out, please arrange to attend one of our upcoming meetings as a guest of one of our members. See our member list for someone you know. A guest fee of $10 covers light refreshments and two drinks.
Membership is not restricted by geography, business focus, race, creed or gender and we do not limit membership due to overlapping professions or industries or services. New WHIMBY members are invited and sponsored by a current member.
Our meetings and programs are possible through the support of our sponsors. WHIMBY sponsors are existing members that get a focused 5 minute presentation and generously cover the expenses for the room and bar.
Bob Bennett has worked as a Commercial Banker in Richmond for almost 40 years.
